A dated record of every accessibility fix you make.

Provelyn audits your online store every week against WCAG 2.2 AA, tells you what broke and how to fix it, and keeps a sealed history of your progress.

Takes about 30 seconds. We load one public page, like a visitor would. No sign-up needed.

Every weekly audit is sealed with a fingerprint of its findings. If anyone edits the record later, the fingerprint no longer matches.

How it works

  1. Add your store

Enter your homepage address. We read your robots.txt and crawl up to 500 public pages, one at a time, without logging in or slowing your site.

  2. Get a prioritised list

Every issue comes with its WCAG criterion, the page, the exact element and a suggested fix your developer can apply.

  3. Keep the record

Each week we audit again, show what is new, what you fixed and what remains, and add a dated, fingerprinted PDF to your history.

Why a record, not a widget

Overlays promise a fix in one line of code. What helps is removing real barriers and being able to show when and how you did it.

Questions

How is this different from an accessibility widget or overlay?

An overlay adds a toolbar or script on top of your store and leaves the underlying code unchanged. Provelyn changes nothing on your store: it finds the barriers in your pages, tells your developer how to fix them, and records the progress week after week.

If a scan finds no issues, does my store meet WCAG?

Not necessarily. Automated checks cover a portion of WCAG success criteria. Some need a person to judge, like whether an image description is meaningful. A clean scan means no automatically detectable issue remains in the categories we test.

What does the sealed record show?

Each weekly audit is stored with a SHA-256 fingerprint of its findings. If the record were edited later, the fingerprint would no longer match. It documents what was found and fixed, and when; it does not prove that a store meets any law or standard.

Do you need access to my store admin or code?

No. We load your public pages like a visitor would, follow your robots.txt, never log in, fill in forms or buy anything, and audit one page at a time so your store is not slowed down.

Which platforms do you support?

Any public website: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or a custom build. A Shopify app is in preparation.

What data do you keep?

The page addresses we audit and the issues found, including short excerpts of the failing code. Free scans are deleted after 30 days. Details are on the privacy page.

What automated audits cannot do

Automated testing finds a portion of WCAG issues, such as missing text alternatives, unlabeled form fields, insufficient contrast and empty buttons. Some criteria need a person to judge, like whether alt text is meaningful or a video has accurate captions. We tell you which checks need manual review.
